EOTD ~ testing out some new products May Bird Collection (fall 2013)

So many of you may now by now, I am getting ready to release a huge, in my opinion, collection come fall. (assuming everything falls in to place) I have been working on a collection inspired by one of my favorite children's books, May Bird and the Ever After. I have planned a cream blusher, a highlighter, a fragrance, five pressed shadows and possibly a lipstick if time allows. I have been working hard trying to get everything all set and ready to go. One of the joys of creating your own cosmetics, is testing them. Here is one test of two new eye shadows.

highlight - Red Magma (White with red shift and full of gold shimmers)
crease - Text of Self-fulfilling Prophecy (chocolate brown with multicolor shimmer)
all over lid - Squash Head (a neutral sandy orange with a green sheen)

What do you think? Do you like what you have seen so far?
Have you read May Bird?

Birthday Special

Because my birthday is tomorrow, I thought I would try something new. My all time favorite scent as a convenient and lovely set.

Wigilia is the distinctive smell of that fizzy pink ginger ale.

This set includes: (1) full size perfume oil, (1) full size bath bomb that is good for two baths if cut in half and (1) breakaway wax melt.

Availible both at storenvy and etsy.

New Product Alert! - Giddy Blusher

Hello everybunny! Things have been quite busy here, but we shall not go into that. Let's just get to the good stuff! I have been working very hard on a new product to add to the MRC lineup of products, BLUSHERS! Here is the first of many blushers to be released.

Giddy - Rich maroon full of golden shimmer and bubblegum sheen when sheered out. Use a little for a healthy glow, or really pack it on for intense rosiness.

I have problems going a bit overboard with this if I am not careful. This blush is so pigmented that I am sure it would work out wonderfully on all skin tones.

What do you think?

*also there is a review over at a bit prissy from a while ago where she has a swatch of giddy as well*

Small Update And A Tutorial

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and new year. I know it was very quite here after posting the holiday update, but I was very busy being sick and trying it make it through the holidays and crazy issues at my 9-5 job. Now that everything has settled down, I have a bit of time to get all caught up with emails and everything before it is crunch time for my wedding!

One of the things I have been working on is illustrated tutorials. I personally love them. I am finally happy enough with how one turned out to be able to share it with you.
